Jason is a native Montanan and has been working with children and families for the past 19 years. Jason received his BS in Psychology from Montana State University in 1993 and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Great Falls in 2004. He worked with severely neglected and abused children and their adoptive families at Intermountain Children’s Home in Helena Montana for four years before moving to Idaho where he worked as a counselor at the Columbia Regional Hospital mental health clinic with adults in an inpatient setting. Before returning to Montana Jason worked in case management for NAMASTE Inc. in Albuquerque, MN where he worked with children and families in therapeutic foster care.

After returning to Montana, Jason returned to Intermountain Children’s Home for another four years while working on his Master’s degree. Upon receiving his Master’s degree from the University of Great Falls he entered into outpatient therapy with AWARE Inc. in Helena, Montana. In 2007 Jason started a private practice where along with working with adults, children and families, he began to specialize in Autism Spectrum Conditions.

Currently, Jason conducts outpatient therapy with Custer Avenue Counseling in Helena, MT and lives with his furry friend of seven years, Oscar.
